Music Video Blog

Today's the day! The video above is the final product of my music video. For this blog, I will talk

about the experience before and after doing this video. Heading into this project I was a little nervous. I

was nervous because I didn't think I had the capability to recreate a music video. LIKE EVER! But I

knew it had to get done so I went headfirst into it. The first step was to pick a song, this was where I

had to use my creativity. Out of all the songs I ended up choosing "The Bigger Picture" by Lil Baby.

The reason I decided to do this song was that Lil baby is one of my favorite rappers. Also, the meaning

behind the song was the "black lives matters" movement. After the tragic death of George Floyd which

was a man who lost his life at the hands of the police. Or the people that are supposed to "protect the

people" and make the streets safer. George Floyd is just one of the black people who have lost their

lives due to this type of brutality. I felt as if it was my calling to recreate this song specifically. In

the process of making this video, I had lots of fun. Especially with the making of it and the editing on

the transitions. Even though in the video I may have a straight face I did enjoy it. Now, being done with

creating two videos one being a commercial and this one a music video. I've realized how much fun and

creativity that the people who do this for a living have to go through on a daily basis. I can't wait for the

next project. Hope you guys enjoy the video!
