Planning Storyboard For My Vans Commercial

This is my storyboard planning sheet for my commercial Vans. My storyboard consists of six boxes.

The first box being represents a picture of the sun down. I decided to make this my first picture because

I noticed in my research that a lot of these vans commercials take place when the sun is down. This

gives the videos its setting as well as sets a mood for my audience. The second box being on the right

hand side of the first box is representing the black checkerboard Vans to show the audience what I am

advertising to them. The reason I decided that this picture was so important to put next was because in

most commercials or ads you are allowed to skip them within five seconds of them playing. I wanted to

at least get was I was advertising within those five seconds to the audience. Which also ties into the

next box being my red vans. This was also put right after my black vans to show the variety of shoes

and colors produced by Vans. The fourth box is a picture of my skateboard (longboard) exactly. I felt

what is a Vans commercial without a skateboard. The whole of purpose of this is demonstrate their

slogan "off the walls." The skateboard I own is customized by me it is a silver like platinum with

green. Also, this box is meant to foreshadow the next box which would be me riding my skateboard in

the street. In this part of my video it will consist of  me riding as well as doing tricks on my skateboard.

Which would also be demonstrating the brand slogan as it will seem like I am skating off the walls

doing tricks. Lastly, the six box which refers to the ending of my commercial. Which is a picture of

words "Vans" and it will also say "off the walls" in the commercial. I decided to put this on storyboard

as I felt its necessary to remind the audience why their watching the commercial. The audience may

not clearly understand what's being advertised so that last slide is just a reminder.
