Filming Blog For My Music Video

For my music video, the filming process went quite easily. I am going to explain step by step how the 

filming process went. To begin with, I had to make sure the setting was right. This meaning the 

area and the weather. I was unable to film the week that I wanted to. Due to the fact that I went to 

Orlando for my whole thanksgiving break. So when we got back on Monday I started my film. In my 

film I was able to capture the beautiful setting of the sun that day. After that I was able to gather my 

clothing. In the film I wore my "black lives matter" shirt with khaki shorts. The purpose of this is so 

that the audience can see what the purpose of why the song was made. Which was due to the George 

Floyd. Who is just one of the many African Americans who have lost their life in the hand of police. 

Which are suppose to "protect the people." Then I had to gather all my signs that you will see in the 

video. Which was a total of five all together. Each having their own meaning but all relating to "black 

lives matter." For me this was such a fun video to make. Although it speaks about a very serious topic 

I enjoyed myself in the making process. Hopefully I get the chance to do this again.

Today's the day! The video above is the final product of my music video. For this blog, I will talk about the experience before and after doing this video. Heading into this project I was a little nervous. I was nervous because I didn't think I had the capability to recreate a music video. LIKE EVER! But I  knew it had to get done so I went headfirst into it. The first step was to pick a song, this was where I  had to use my creativity. Filming Process

 For my Vans commercial the filming process went quite easily. I am going to explain step by step how the filming process went. To begin with, I had to make sure the setting was right. This meaning the area and the weather. It was raining for most of the weekend so luckily on Sunday I was able to start my film. This was also important because I wanted the video to start of with a sunset. Although I wasn't able to capture the sunset I was still able to capture the beautiful setting of the sun that day. After that I was able to gather my clothing. I wore two sets of the clothing in the film. The first being a black & white hat, a plain white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and my black & white checkerboard Vans. The second being a red & white visor, the same plain white T-shirts, the same khaki shorts, and my red & white checkerboard Vans. Introduction To The Music Video Project

Good afternoon, my name is Nicholas Smith. Today, I was given the opportunity to create a music video project. Given to me by lovely teachers Mr. Katz and Ms. Marchionne. Through the AICE MEDIA department. This will be my second project given to me and I can't wait. For this project I've  decided to work on it by myself.
