Genre Research: IT

I have chosen three movies to begin researching. Each film is under the genre Horror. This is the genre I have decided to do my own film on. To begin with, The film IT was published on September 5,2018. The film was directed by Andres Muschietti. Andres Muschietti has directed other horror films such as IT Chapter Two and Mama. The main character who is a clown is played by Bill Skarsgard. Otherwise known as Pennywise the dancing clown. Bill Skarsgard is seen in other horror movies such as IT Chapter Two, Hemlock Grove, and Castle Rock. The movie has made 701.8 million dollars worldwide. The movie is taken place in Derry, Maine. The film is about children particularly seven that were by the clown. Who soon realized that every day on a particular day the clown did this to other kids. I like the fear that this movie hold in it. As there are many jump scares and sudden pop-ups. Something that I do not like about this movie is the way they ended it. The movie has won two Golden awards. These include the Golden Schmoes and the Golden Trailer awards. Each for the best Horror film.

Today's the day! The video above is the final product of my music video. For this blog, I will talk about the experience before and after doing this video. Heading into this project I was a little nervous. I was nervous because I didn't think I had the capability to recreate a music video. LIKE EVER! But I  knew it had to get done so I went headfirst into it. The first step was to pick a song, this was where I  had to use my creativity. Out of all the songs I ended up choosing "The Bigger Picture" by Lil Baby.  The reason I decided to do this song was that Lil baby is one of my favorite rappers. Filming Process

 For my Vans commercial the filming process went quite easily. I am going to explain step by step how the filming process went. To begin with, I had to make sure the setting was right. This meaning the area and the weather. It was raining for most of the weekend so luckily on Sunday I was able to start my film. This was also important because I wanted the video to start of with a sunset. Although I wasn't able to capture the sunset I was still able to capture the beautiful setting of the sun that day. After that I was able to gather my clothing. I wore two sets of the clothing in the film. The first being a black & white hat, a plain white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and my black & white checkerboard Vans. The second being a red & white visor, the same plain white T-shirts, the same khaki shorts, and my red & white checkerboard Vans. Introduction To The Music Video Project

Good afternoon, my name is Nicholas Smith. Today, I was given the opportunity to create a music video project. Given to me by lovely teachers Mr. Katz and Ms. Marchionne. Through the AICE MEDIA department. This will be my second project given to me and I can't wait. For this project I've  decided to work on it by myself.
