Genre Research: The Nun

I have chosen three movies to begin researching. Each film is under the genre Horror. This is the genre I

have decided to do my own film on. To begin with, The Nun was published on September 6,2018. The

director of the movie is Corin Hardy. Corin Hardy has directed other horror films such as The Hallow and

The Crow. Bonnie Aarons is the actress who plays the main character. THE NUN! Bonnie Aarons is seen

in a lot of famous Horror films. Such as The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, and Anabelle. In the movie, she

does a magnificent job of taking the part of playing the nun. The setting of the nun is in place of a church.

Which is called the Carta Monastery in Romania. In the set of year of 1952. The films had made 365

million worldwide. The film was distributed by the company Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is an hour

and thirty-six minutes long. The film has won the nomination of "best horror poster" by the Golden Trailer

Awards in 2019.

Today's the day! The video above is the final product of my music video. For this blog, I will talk about the experience before and after doing this video. Heading into this project I was a little nervous. I was nervous because I didn't think I had the capability to recreate a music video. LIKE EVER! But I  knew it had to get done so I went headfirst into it. The first step was to pick a song, this was where I  had to use my creativity. Filming Process

 For my Vans commercial the filming process went quite easily. I am going to explain step by step how the filming process went. To begin with, I had to make sure the setting was right. This meaning the area and the weather. It was raining for most of the weekend so luckily on Sunday I was able to start my film. This was also important because I wanted the video to start of with a sunset. Although I wasn't able to capture the sunset I was still able to capture the beautiful setting of the sun that day. After that I was able to gather my clothing. I wore two sets of the clothing in the film. The first being a black & white hat, a plain white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and my black & white checkerboard Vans. The second being a red & white visor, the same plain white T-shirts, the same khaki shorts, and my red & white checkerboard Vans. Introduction To The Music Video Project

Good afternoon, my name is Nicholas Smith. Today, I was given the opportunity to create a music video project. Given to me by lovely teachers Mr. Katz and Ms. Marchionne. Through the AICE MEDIA department. This will be my second project given to me and I can't wait. For this project I've  decided to work on it by myself.
