Title Research: Watch the Titles Websites

The Watch the Titles Websites is the two out of two websites that I will be using for my title research. The website was launched in 2006. And just like Art of the Titles, their website is dedicated to help and highlight the designs of the title. Which basically breaks down how and why a specific title was created. Their websites hold over 200 title sequences to explore from. They have designers that are dedicated worldwide. Unlike the Art of the Title, this website has a section titles "student projects." Under this title, they showcase some of the work that their students have produced. Almost honoring or showing off on how their website has helped other students. So I believe I may gravitate to this website more.

Today's the day! The video above is the final product of my music video. For this blog, I will talk about the experience before and after doing this video. Heading into this project I was a little nervous. I was nervous because I didn't think I had the capability to recreate a music video. LIKE EVER! But I  knew it had to get done so I went headfirst into it. The first step was to pick a song, this was where I  had to use my creativity. Out of all the songs I ended up choosing "The Bigger Picture" by Lil Baby.  The reason I decided to do this song was that Lil baby is one of my favorite rappers. Also, the meaning  behind the song was the "black lives matters" movement. After the tragic death of George Floyd which  was a man who lost his life at the hands of the police. Filming Process

 For my Vans commercial the filming process went quite easily. I am going to explain step by step how the filming process went. To begin with, I had to make sure the setting was right. This meaning the area and the weather. It was raining for most of the weekend so luckily on Sunday I was able to start my film. This was also important because I wanted the video to start of with a sunset. Although I wasn't able to capture the sunset I was still able to capture the beautiful setting of the sun that day. After that I was able to gather my clothing. I wore two sets of the clothing in the film. The first being a black & white hat, a plain white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and my black & white checkerboard Vans. The second being a red & white visor, the same plain white T-shirts, the same khaki shorts, and my red & white checkerboard Vans. Introduction To The Music Video Project

Good afternoon, my name is Nicholas Smith. Today, I was given the opportunity to create a music video project. Given to me by lovely teachers Mr. Katz and Ms. Marchionne. Through the AICE MEDIA department. This will be my second project given to me and I can't wait. For this project I've  decided to work on it by myself.
